You know we are a booking loving family. Each season we change out our books and after Christmas I put all the Christmas books away and bring out the next season’s books. A couple of weeks ago I pulled out all of our winter books. These are books we read year after year. We love them. It is like visiting with old friends!
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening is hands down my favorite winter book! Ever. The words are so beautiful and just reminds me how beautiful winter is! Click on the pictures for more information on each book.
The My First Little House books are still enjoyed here. We just love Little House!
Who does not love Jan Brett. Her stories are so fun and her illustrations are simply beautiful!
We loved The Three Snow Bears and did a fun unit study on this book!
You can get the above four books all in one big book. I’ll warn you though it is a bit heavy! lol
This is one we don’t have yet. It looks fun!

Many of those are favorites of ours, too. I think I'll pull out all our "snow" books to read this week!
Wow! That is a lot of books for one unit. How long did it take?
Michelle, we did not use all of these books for one unit. They are the winter books we love to read. I pull books our by season and these are our winter favorites. We did use some of these with our Winter Wonders unit and some we just read for fun!
