As part of the TOS Crew I was given a copy of Beehive Reader 1.   This is a reader written my Marie Ripple from All About Spelling.  It sells for $19.95 and is available in hardback form.   This reader correlates directly with All About Spelling Level 1.

What we thought: This is a beautiful, quality hardback book. The illustrations done in black and white ink drawings are stunning.  This is a high quality book for a beginning reader.   I love that is correlates with All About Spelling so easily. The stories are engaging and fun.  This is a stand alone reader that can be used by with or without All About Spelling if you are using a different program.

I recently found out that Marie Rippel will have four readers out by the end of 2010 along with a reading program: All About Reading and a teachers manual.

Be sure to visit the TOS Crew blog to read more reviews of the Beehive Reader 1.
