Can you believe that it is February already! Where did January go? This is my third week to plan out my menus and I must say it is working very well. I love knowing what I am having for dinner on any given night. I have changed things up a bit and switched nights when I need to, but overall it is working well. Friday night I came home from being at my grandma's all day, my dh got home a good two hours before we did. I asked him why dinner wasn't ready (he rarely cooks but does know how). He said he looked at the menu and saw pizza was on it so he wondered should he call the pizzeria! I had planned on making homemade, but we did end up calling for takeout since I just didn't feel like cooking. We need to work on not eating out as much. This is a big downfall for us. Anyway, here is my plan for the week:
Monday~Fish sticks and french fries
Tuesday~Potato soup and peasant bread
Wednesday~Rotisserie chicken (picked one up shopping yesterday. I love those things)
Saturday~I think this will be leftovers night. Dh has to work so it will be just the three of us.
I also hope to get in a bit of baking this week. There is a new cookie recipe I want to try as well as some additional bread and maybe some muffins. To see more great menu plans and maybe get some new ideas visit I am an Organizing Junkie.
