Homemade Uncrustables

My boys want me to buy them uncrustables. I refuse. I won't pay an exhorbant amount of money for crust less peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I won't! I refuse! No one can make me! The solution I found to satisfy my boys and keep extra money in my wallet? Glad you asked! I bought a cut and seal from Pampered Chef. All arguments stopped. We can now walk past the uncrustables without screaming and yelling taking a second look. Everyone is happy!
Oh and in case your wondering what I do with those crusts I know you were! I throw them all in a zip top bag, throw them in the freezer and make bread crumbs out of them when the bag is full. To see more great tips stop on over to Biblical Womanhood.

I was worried there for a moment. I was thinking that was a lot of bread being wasted. Smart girl.

My kids are the same way. It's the only way my kids will eat sandwiches. Good idea about the crust...I'll have to try that.

Wonderful idea. I wondered if you were going to reuse the crusts! Yes! You made my day when you said you made bread crumbs! Excellent idea!
