The George Foreman Grill: Not Just for Burgers and Chicken

Do you have a Foreman grill? We have had ours for about 12 years. When I first got it I really didn't care for it too much. I seemed to overcook chicken and burgers. A few years ago I finally pulled it back out and decided to give it another try. Now it is the only way I cook our burgers unless we are cooking on our outdoor grill. One day I decided to cook our bacon on it. It works great! Reduces grease spatters and I can do an entire pound of bacon in just about 10 minutes. This week is a heavy cooking week here and I did bacon for a few dishes I am making. Best of all it is also easy cleaning! For more great tips visit Tammy's Recipes.

I have done that also. It works great. The nonstick started coming off my George Foreman so I got rid of it and have not replaced it. Plus, the one I had was a little small for us with three kids. I used it a ton, which is why the nonstick came off. :)

So smart! I will pass this info to my parents. They love their Foreman grill, but I don't think they have ever done bacon on it.

Thanks for sharing all your tips.
You are a smart and creative lady!

Have a blessed day.
