George Washington lost alot of his teeth. He started loosing them when he was 22. This book tells all about it. It is a very fun book with lots of rhyming and history all rolled into one. The boys loved this book.
Many people think that George Washington had wooden teeth. Did you know that his teeth were really made of hippopotamus tusk and gold? George Washington's dentist was a very prominent American dentist of that time period, Dr. John Greenwood.
Another book we really enjoyed was So You Want to Be President by Judith St. George This book has lots of cool facts about the Presidents. Not just your common every day facts.

Here are a few:
How many Presidents are named James? Six
How many Presidents were born in a log cabin? Eight
Which President had the most siblings? Benjamin Harrison
How many Presidents were related to other Presidents? Ten
Which President held office for the shortest time? William Henry Harrison March to April of 1841. He was ill and died.
There are many more very interesting facts in this book.
Here is our Presidents lapbook I added a couple of my own components the Presidential Questions and What President Am I Related to? My family is related to President Andrew Jackson (on my mom's side) and we thought this would be a fun addition to our lapbook.

You guys did a great job! : )
The lapbook looks wonderful!!
Good Evening,
Loved the lapbook. I need to do one on the presidents with my son :) This is the first time at your blog, I greatly enjoyed it. But I must say that I'm just a little bit jealous of all the savings that you get from cvs and walgreens. I'm not fortunate enought to live close to these. :(
It amazes me how much you actually can save. By the way just what will you do with all the baby stuff and razors? lol

Nice job on your lapbook.
I think I have learned so much more teaching my kids than I ever did in school.:)
It looks like you are making learning fun.:)
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Have a blessed week!
Amy:)
Sounds like this was a lot of fun! Great pics too! Thanks for sharing.
Great lapbook pictures. I have done a small one with my oldest before, but we are just beginning a project on Lewis and Clark, so It was great to see a finished project. I will definitely be back to show my kids more of what we are shooting for. They are very excited to work on it.
Thanks!
~Erin
