When we were doing our President study last month he cried because he didn't have his own lapbook. I promised him I would let him help make one when we started our next unit. Let me tell you Kaden does not forget. So here is Kaden's very first lapbook! I just cut down a regular size file folder since we only put a few tings in this book. I guess we'll be starting a little soooner than I had planned!

This is such a great idea! I'm having visions of making one to keep my little one quiet during church.
That is awesome! Way to go, Kaden!!
Oh my goodness...that picture of him holding his "little" lapbook is precious!! What a cute idea!! You should send that picture to Ami...she could use that on the preschool lapbook pages for hss. I think it is adorable! :)

Very adorable! Great idea!
I loved this idea.
I think I will make these mini lap books (your brillant idea) for my daughter for compact learning purposes to take with us to dr. offices and what not or on errands and they are small enough to fit in her tote bag and not mom's.
Thanks brillant!!
Hugs,
Sheila
How cute! I love the idea of cutting the folder down. It makes it easier to handle...
In Sunday school class I took a large poster board and cut it into 4ths.... it made a nice small one too... but not small enough. It was just a little project so it looked a little sparse... We did ours on a few parables Jesus told.
Great tip! I’m exited to try that on our next lap book...
What a cute little lapbook! That is a good idea for little ones. :o)
