My boys think I have eyes in the back of my head. Literally. They look for them. All the time. They never find them because I tell them they are special mommy eyes and no one can see them, but they can see everything they are doing.
This evening Justin and Kaden are running up and down the hall with blankets on, you know like ghosts. Justin proceeds to head out here to the living room. I told him he could not come in with the blanket on because he would break his neck on all the toys on the floor. He takes the blanket off and says how did you know it was me? Well gee I don't know son, I am looking right at you and you are taller than your brother. That was my first clue. Then he says Mom, did you put the eyes in the back of my head? I knew he meant did I have eyes in the back of my head. I said yes. He is feeling all around the back of his head and says, well I can't feel them anywhere. Ahhh the fun of having little children!
