I put out cookie sheets filled with water. We dyed the water blue with food coloring. Our boats are made from little plastic cups that I cut the tops of off. The mast is a drinking straw and we used card stock for the sail. The boys tried regular blowing and then blowing with a straw. Both methods worked well!

I appreciate the library late fees post, too! Luckily for us, our library doesn't charge late fees on children's books!! :))
